Our farmers love what we do

We offer various crop advisory services like pest, disease, water management, etc. to farmers.

With its inception as a pilot project and registration as a non-profit entity, "Parachute Kalpavriksha Foundation" has become a game changer in the lives of farmers who have enrolled under the various programmes run by the foundation, which provide all kinds of support, starting from imparting knowledge and training for disease management, pest control, and water management to providing farm inputs at affordable prices. During the last five years, the teams of experts have reached thousands of farmers, helping them to undertake best farm practices through modern scientific techniques, which have really improved yield quality and quantity. Here are a few short video clips of our farmers, who have benefited from various programmes of the Parachute Kalpavriksha Foundation.

I have over 300 trees on my farm. My farming practices were not so organised, and hence, I faced many difficulties in nurturing my trees to give good yields. Fortunately, in the year 2018, Parachute Kalpavriksha Foundation representatives paid regular visits to my farm, educated me about various techniques, and saved my farm from pest attacks. Compared to previous yields, I am getting a substantial quantity increase on my farm this year.

I have been involved in farming since 1974. Despite the experience I had in farming, I was stuck when the rhinoceros beetle attacked my trees. The Parachute Kalpavriksha Team has guided me with clear strategies on how to trap pests and arrest them. Parachute Kalpavriksha Foundation has also shared knowledge on water management techniques for increasing the yield per tree and strategies to save water during drought seasons. I am very happy they are visiting my farm once a month to guide me on various aspects of farming.

We have been involved in farming practices for over 25 years. Stem bleeding disease had affected trees to a large extent. So, we decided to call the Parachute Kalpavriksha Foundation team for inspection. After inspection, their team suggested remedies to overcome the disease. We applied those techniques and heaved a sigh of relief upon seeing the increased nitrogen levels in our soil, which benefited us with a higher yield per tree. I wholeheartedly thank the Parachute Kalpavriksha Foundation for its service to farmers!
Keep serving the farmer community.
